TESTIMONIALS
Both our sons attended Cinquegranelli Montessori. That was about 15 years ago and we always say that Cinquegranelli gave them wings. Both boys did well under the calm and steady hand of Gail Longo. Gail knows children and her vast experience (and continuing education work) cannot be underestimated. She's a guide to learning, and using the Montessori methods she allows children to pick their own path of learning. Beyond basic learning, children at Cinquegranelli learn about sharing, empathy, kindness and self-discipline. They enjoy singing and dancing, learning some Italian and sometimes even gardening. It was astonishing to have my children show me where the continents were on a map, show me how to add and subtract and then sing to me in Italian. Both came into the program at 3 and stayed until kindergarten. It seemed their knowledge grew every single day.

I honestly believe they received the very best in preschool at Cinquegranelli. We feel indebted to Gail and the other teachers for what they gave our sons.My husband and I have 3 children that have all attended Cinquegranelli Montessori school. Cinquegranelli is that urban oasis of Pre-K education we think is practically unattainable. Unattainable because there aren't usually schools of her caliber that are so happily quiet in their work. Gail Longo knows what she is doing. She's a true educator. She's brilliant. She's kind and compassionate. She brings in people that share her passion for teaching and discovery. She truly and genuinely cares about each child and becomes a part of your family. I strongly and truly believe that the reason our kids have been so successful in their education after leaving Gail's program, is because of the way that Gail strictly adheres to the Montessori philosophy while giving each child individual love and attention. We are a family that truly believes in supporting the public school system-- our three kids attend, or will be attending, our reference school, Loyal Heights-- and for the oldest two, they went in ahead of the game! You are a lucky family if Cinquegranelli is a match for your family. She is a hidden gem.

Our family was thrilled to discover Cinquegranelli Montessori for our 3 year-old daughter. After spending decades in the classroom, teacher and director Gail Longo has high expectations for her young students, and she helps them reach their potential through her nurturing, even motherly instruction. Cinquegranelli embodies the best of what the Montessori approach has to offer, and goes a step further to integrate lessons in Italian language. The school setting is stimulating and exciting without being chaotic and disorganized. We're big fans of Cinquegranelli Montessori.

Our son Theo is ending his first year at Cinquegranelli Montessori. He absolutely loves his education and his interaction with all of the students. We are looking forward to next fall for another fantastic year.

Our son attends Cinquegranelli Montessori. We love the small class size as well as the home environment that nurtures the whole child. Gail Longo is an amazing educator. She values every child and their gifts, and her patience is in abundance when it comes to listening, working and caring for each child. At Cinquegranelli, each child is allowed their own time to work at their own pace, whiles also being encouraged to learn new and challenging work. Since attending Cinquegranelli, we have seen our son mature emotionally, and gain compassion and respect for his peers. Cinquegranelli is a true representation of the Montessori approach with the additional integration of creative and emotional nourishment. Cinquegranelli not only helps our child help himself, it helps him be himself. We are happy we found such an amazing school.

Cinquegranelli is a special place. Director Gail Longo is an experienced, gifted educator who sees every child as a gift. The school program is fun, varied, enriching and flexible enough to allow students' interests to be a main driver. Our three-year old daughter has been so happy at this school--the environment is organized but warm and the academic and social teaching is all based on the amazing Montessori philosophy. The Italian language component is a bonus to this great school, including the sweet folk songs and art projects that connect to Italian culture. We are confident that Cinquegranelli is a school that allows our daughter to explore, imagine and discover while preparing her for elementary school and life.

Both of our children have attended Cinquegranelli Montessori. We love the small class size, home environment and attentive care. Gail Longo, the director, is an incredible teacher who has a talent to find, acknowledge and nurture the gifts each student have. I love that each student can work at their own pace and discover the world, and what is important to them, through Montessori materials and the student community. Our family feels incredibly lucky to have been a part of this program!

The quality of education is extremely high. Both teachers are dedicated to teaching and the Montessori method; a method proven effective at thousands of schools throughout the world. As a university professor for 21 years, I am impressed with the sound educational approach provided by the Montessori method.

Gail has put incredible effort not only in exposing the children to things Italian, but also to having them directly experience the culture -- and on a grand scale for this young group! The children danced and sang their Italian songs, wearing traditional Italian costumes, in a number of festivals and fairs. You can imagine how proud and tremendous we parents feel at one of these events.
